Thermal insulation glass

There are several  key factors which  influence technical parameters of joint glass:

- Type of glass used

- Number of glass tiles

- Parameters of gas between the tiles

- Number of chambers in the set (one or two chambers).

Modern glass used for windows is usually covered by low-emission layers of noble metals, so as to pass as much light as possible, and at the same time block the heat outflow. With the use of such layers, the energy consumption can be reduced and  savings can be achieved.

The two chamber glass has very good thermal insulation parameters: 0,4-0,8 [W/m2K] while maintaining high transparency. The glass is thicker than standard, one- chamber joint glass (the lowest width is 28 mm). In a three-glass set (two chambers) many different glass types can be used: laminated glass, hardened glass, easy- cleaning or sunscreen glass which adds functionalities to the window.

TECHNICAL PARAMETERS OF THE GLASS

Main technical parameters of the glass can be described by a set of measures: U, g, Lt and Rw. Check information on their meaning and have a look on sample values to make sure the glass in your future windows meets all your expectations.

WINDOW BARS

Estethics or the need to preserve the character of the building often demand the use of window bars. They enable renovation of even historic buildings without breaking their primary stylistic. .

WARM FRAME

A significant element of joint glass is a frame between the glass sheets. Using a special type of insulated frame SGG SWISSPACER , more energy can be saved.
